Our standard website projects usually take 8–12 weeks from briefing to launch. For clients using our YDS Express platform (ideal for small businesses or start-ups), we can get you live in as little as 5 days. Larger, custom websites with more pages or eCommerce features take a bit longer, depending on complexity. But we’re fast, clear on timelines, and we keep you updated every step of the way. No disappearing acts or vague delivery dates here.
What’s included in a standard website build?
Every YDS website includes custom design, mobile optimisation, SEO-friendly structure, speed tuning, security setup, and a CMS (so you can make your own updates). We don’t do off-the-shelf templates that look like everyone else. Your site is designed to grow with you. We’ll also set up Google Analytics, integrate social or eComm tools if needed, and connect your Google Business Profile if it supports local traffic.
What if I already have a website? Can you just improve it?
Absolutely. If your current site is outdated, slow or underperforming, we can do a full audit and either rebuild or refresh it. Sometimes we recommend starting fresh if your platform’s holding you back, but we’ll always explain the ‘why’ behind our advice. A site rebuild doesn’t mean starting from scratch with content; we’ll reuse what’s working and only refine what’s missing.
How do you make sure my website appears in Google searches?
That’s where our SEO team comes in. Every site we build includes basic SEO setup: clean code, keyword-optimised pages, and metadata to help Google index your site properly. But ongoing search visibility requires strategy. That’s why we recommend combining your website project with our SEO services so we’re not just building something beautiful, we’re building something findable too.
Do I need to write the content for the site?
Only if you want to. Our content team can handle copywriting, image sourcing and even video if needed.
